The MPB Series FA60 Flow Alarm will give a switched output at a predetermined flow,

i.e. 4 L/min.

The FA60 Flow Alarm, being a low-pressure drop device, can be positioned either in-line or on a bypass system.

Typical applications include pump failure alarm and detection of filter blockages etc.

The principle of operation is quite simple: Normal flow will lift the float up into the flow tube, but when the flow falls below a pre-set level the float drops and a magnet held within the float triggers a reed switch.
